While working at BGSTR Motion Design in NY I had the privilege to design some style frames for the 4th season of True Detective, one of my favorite IPs of all time. The brief was to create a cold, icy environment filled with the foreboding edge that every season of True Detective brings to the surface. I created custom bump maps for the ice overlay, breaking up the text beneath the ice. All in all I probably made 50 images for this project, and while they went a different direction it was a joy to work on and I am proud to have a small part in the progression of one of the best shows in the genre.
